So excited to be headed out for the Star Trek cruise! We have a stay-over in Miami, and get to board the ship tomorrow!  Walking around, we’ve seen some people clearly here for the same reason we are.

I purchase a few things in the market. One was a beautiful handmade bracelet and the other a stylin’  Hannibal Lecter hat for sun protection.

The bracelet has onyx and haematite woven in. Very lucky, and those stones are good for my health problems.

I did a lot of walking today, in the heat. The weather and I seem to be having a truce which is nice. I’d rather not carry around extra bottles of water just for dumping over my head in a vain cool down effort.  That’s happen more that once. The worst was visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. It was lovely but sooooo hot.

I really don’t remember much in getting here last night, to the hotel. My family said I acted fine. We had dinner at the airport. I just had yucca fries and a few chicken strips for protein. I have vague memories of getting to the hotel, and later of racing around my room in some kind of crack frenzy… I got nuthin’. My CPAP water chamber was full, so I did intend to go to bed normally. Instead, I fell asleep on the bed in an odd position and woke confused.

Dinner tonight was more yucca fries, swordfish, and flan. We were eating dinner outside and at one point a wee gecko fell on my shoulder. At first it freaked me out cause I thought someone had grabbed my shoulder but there was no one there. My friend saw the gecko. Haha, no haunted restaurant this time.
