Dark Dreamer’s Questions
What is one thing you feel is unique about your blog, or a unique idea you plan to implement later?
Well, it started out as an author website, and turned into a book blog. The name- Port Jericho- is a skycity on De Sikkari, the world my stories take place in. The ‘wards’ are how Jerachi is divided.
I’m still a baby book blogger, and my site is changing as I learn and grow. I’ve recently started using more pics and GIFs. The Kreutzet Archives are new, and links to blog posts are slowly being collected and added. I’m making goofy little pics for the review alphabetisation. They are absolutely random, which is perfect since Port Jericho is tied to the trickster Loki.
Name a unique music artist.
Lindsey Stirling! This woman is amazing, and an inspiration to me to keep up with my violin and cello practice. She’s so adorable energetic. I’ve seen her in concert four times, and had the honour to meet her twice. (I went to a book signing for her book The Only Pirate at the Party).
Tell me about a unique book you have read, or movie you have watched, and why was it unique?
Hmm, this is a hard one! I have to say Sarah Gailey’s River of Teeth. It is one of the first books I’ve read to handle gender fluidity quite well. It doesn’t get harped on. It just is. In fact, each of the crew has different sexual preferences/gender affiliation, and none of it is made into a big deal.
And hippos! Gailey took a ‘what if’ from American history and wove an alternate world where we did import hippos, and they turned out to be an invasive species. Can’t wait for the sequel!
*Are you a pirate or a ninja?
*If you could meet anyone at all from history, who would it be and why?
*What inspired you to take up book blogging?
I’m still networking, and don’t know too many people, so I don’t have a full eight + yet. Each of those below has been helpful in my growth, and patient with my questions on my quest to improve and move on to being a toddler blogger 😛
Dos mere! Many thanks!
